John Le Cras
Director

John has 40 years experience in journalism, public relations, marketing and as a corporate adviser to dozens of companies and organisations. Starting work as a newspaper reporter in 1982, John worked at the ABC as a radio and TV reporter before moving to the Seven Network where he worked as a reporter, senior producer and ended his career in the media as Director of News and Current Affairs with editorial management of Seven News and Today Tonight.

John then worked in corporate affairs for one of Australia’s biggest health insurance companies, HBF and later as its General Manager of Marketing & Communications. During that time John initiated the HBF Run for a Reason and oversaw the rebranding of the organisation. John also served as Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications at Murdoch University where he relaunched its brand. Since establishing JLCA ten years ago, he has provided advice to dozens of clients across companies operating in almost every sector of the economy, including government agencies and the notforprofit sector.

John’s passion is marketing and communications strategy and he enjoys the privilege of applying his experience and knowledge built up over 40 years to help clients achieve their corporate objectives, large and small.

Megan Putland
Corporate Communications

Megan is an experienced corporate communications practitioner, highly regarded by her clients for her capacity to overcome even the most complex of challenges.  Megan is also a “digital native” – someone for whom the use of online and social tools to connect with audiences is just second nature.  Megan brings a creative flair and eye for detail to her experience in overseeing major internal and external communication programs, the planning and production of almost every form of corporate publication as well as events and website creation and management.

Clients love working with Megan because of her capability to build strong and trusting relationships that enables her to gain a comprehensive understanding of what they want to achieve.

Luke Le Cras
Writer & Researcher

As a published author, historian and researcher, Luke brings his expertise to corporate clients across a wide range of projects.  Although he is reticent to use the title, Luke has a PhD with career highlights including being commissioned by UK publishing house, Routledge. Outside of his academic pursuits, Luke is an immensely talented writer who can turn his hand to producing highly engaging copy for any form of medium or publication.

Luke’s skills as a researcher bring an added dimension to what JLCA can offer clients with his analytical mind enabling him to quickly establish an understanding of complex subject areas and then translate them into a written form able to be understood by those with little or no technical background.

Carrie Anderson
Finance Manager

Carrie is our experienced finance guru and an essential part of JLCA behind the scenes.

Having specialised in the marketing and communication sectors for much of her career, Carrie holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of South Africa and has an extensive track record in finance and management. Above all else, Carrie is a finance professional who prides herself on helping us make sure our business relationships with clients enable rapid and precise responses at all times.

Carrie also happens to be an award-winning triathlete in her spare time, which means she is by far the fittest member of the team.
